Man Dies After Found With Head Injury In Hillingdon, London

A man has died in hospital two days after he was found with a serious head injury in Hillingdon, Greater London.

The London Metropolitan police have launched a murder investigation over the death of the 41-year-old man.

Robert Komuro was from Yiewsley.

Police and London Ambulance Service were called at about 22:00hrs on Tuesday, 23 July on Gordon Road in Yiewsley.

He was rushed to a nearby hospital in a critical condition.

Robert died the following day, Thursday 25 July at about 13:49hrs.

His next of kin have been informed.

The Police arrested two men, 44 and 42-year-old men on Wednesday in connection to the grievous bodily harm and later released them on bail until mid-August.

The Detective Inspector Robert Pack described the incident as tragic.

He said “This was a tragic incident in which a man has suffered fatal head injuries after being assaulted. 

“The circumstances of Robert Komuro’s death are complex but we believe he may have been involved in an altercation with two men prior to being injured.”

A post-mortem will be carried out in due course.

The Police has appealed to anyone with useful information to step forward and help with the investigation.
