The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC Comrade Adams Oshiomhole said on Friday afternoon that the Senate President, Bukola Saraki was only angry with the President Muhammadu Buhari over the President’s refusal to allocate out of the 200 juicy appointments to him.

The former Edo STate governor was responding to the World Press Conference held in Abuja on Wednesday by Saraki.

During the Conference, SAraki had condemned the Federal Government’s involvement in the invasion of the National Assembly describing it as an assault on democracy, adding that he would not quit as the leadership of the upper chamber.

He also said that he would gladly back-down if his colleagues gathered a two-third majority votes, which is another way of saying “a vote of no confidence”.

He said ““When Saraki defected, he went to Ilorin to tell the people part of the truth that he was leaving for two reasons,” Oshiomhole said.

“He alleged that President Buhari gave out over 200 juicy appointments without allocating some to him and he chose to speak for the Speaker of the House of Representatives that he was also not given.

“My question is, giving Saraki the Senate President ‘juicy position’, does that coincide with the Nigerian project? Or the interest of the people of Kwara State of his Senatorial zone? At no time did he refer to the interest of the people of his constituency or the people of Nigeria.”

PDP leadership had accused Oshiomhole of masterminding the siege that took place on Tuesday at the National Assembly. A member of the PDP claimed that the party Chairman held a meeting with 30 Senators, the sacked DG of the SSS where the plan to unseat Saraki was hatched.

NAIJA CENTER NEWS had reported that Oshiomhole denied involvement but made a u-turn describing the incident as a step in the right direction.
