Saraki appoints Okupe as Chairman Presidential Campaign
The Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki has appointed a former Presidential aide, Doyin Okupe as the Chairman of his Presidential Campaign Media Council.
Okupe served as the National Publicity Secretary of the National Republican Convention (NRC) and was the Senior Special Assistant on Public Affairs to former President Goodluck Jonathan.
The appointment was tweeted by the PDP presidential aspirant on Tuesday.
He said “I am pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Doyin Okupe as the Chairman of my Presidential campaign’s Media Council. Dr. Okupe has served as the National Publicity Secretary of the National Republican Convention (NRC).
“Dr. Okupe brings many years of strategic insight to my campaign team, having worked as the Director of Communications for the Presidential campaigns of two former presidents, Olusegun Obasanjo and Goodluck Jonathan.”
