Presidential Tribunal: C4C Withdraws Petition Against Buhari
The Coalition 4 Change and its Presidential Candidate in the Presidential election on February 23 withdrew from the petition filed against the re-election of President Muhammadu Buhari.

The Coalition for Change and its Presidential Candidate in the Presidential election on February 23 withdrew from the petition filed against the re-election of President Muhammadu Buhari.
The Counsel for the petitioners Mr Obed Agu orally filed the application which was granted by Justice Mohammed Garba.
Justice Garba said the petition remained withdrawn in the absence of no objection
According to the News Agency of Nigeria report, there are still three petitions against the re-election of Buhari.
These include the one filed by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and its candidate Alhaji Atiku Abubakar with the file no CA/PEPC/002/2019; the one filed by the Peoples Democratic Movement (PDM) and its presidential candidate, Pastor Aminchi Habu with file number CA/PECP/004/2019.
The last application is by Hope Democratic Party (HDP) and its National Chairman and Presidential candidate, Chief Ambrose Owuru.
Buhari Expresses Delight Over Petition Withdrawal
President Muhammadu Buhari, through his media aide Garba Shehu expressed delight at the withdrawal of the petition C4C.
Buhari described it as a sign of true patriotism, adding that the party has chosen to patronise the stability of the country and the voice of the people by accepting defeat with grace.
Buhari added that “Victory and defeat are part of elections. For some in the opposition, the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC is good, when they win. Where they lose, INEC is unreliable.
“The challenges facing our nation are huge and we need all hands on deck.
“The people of Nigeria have chosen President Buhari to lead them, and all stakeholders should deploy their energy towards supporting his efforts.”
