APC Crisis: Tinubu Meets Buhari As Oshiomhole Rests In The USA.
The National Leader of the All Progressives Congress Bola Tinubu held a meeting with the Nigeria President, Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday at the Presidential Villa.
The visit, according to the report by The News Agency of Nigeria, took place at 4pm.
There was no escort as he arrived alone.
The meeting, speculators say was connected to the crisis rocking the APC.
Buhari has taken the step to resolve the crisis himself.
On Tuesday, the President hosted aggrieved APC aspirants to a dinner at the State House.
This was after the President met with the APC leader and the party Chairman, Adams Oshiomhole 24hrs before, reported NAN.
A report says that Oshiomhole was absent at the yesterday dinner, this is because NAIJA CENTER News gathered that the former Edo State governor is currently cooling himself in the United States of America.
Present at the dinner were the State Assembly aspirants, National Assembly and governorship candidates who complained of being shortchanged by Oshiomhole, ahead of the 2019 election.
NAN reported that Tinubu current meeting with Buhari might not be unconnected with the issues raised by the aggrieved aspirants during the dinner and Buhari.
For the same reason, Buhari had met behind a closed door, Governor Kashim Shettima of Borno State.
