APC Crisis: Oshiomhole not running the party rightly – Okorocha disagrees with Tinubu
The Governor of Imo State, Rochas Okorocha has disagreed with the Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Bola Tinubu for saying that the National Chairman, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole was running the affairs of the party rightly.
After Tinubu met President Muhammadu Buhari behind closed door on Wednesday at the State House Villa, Abuja, he told State House reporters that Oshiomhole was doing the right thing.
He also urged the aggrieved members of the party to shield swords and obey the party supremacy.
Well, reacting, Okorocha said maybe Tinubu was not well informed of the situation, arguing that he might think otherwise if he was informed.
“Maybe he is ill-informed; if he is properly informed, he will not be saying Oshiomhole is doing the right thing in the party,” Okorocha told State House reporters on Thursday evening.
Okorocha and other APC governors are among the cabals who want Oshiomhole to resign or forced to step down as he allegedly replaced the list of successful candidates from the nationwide primaries.
A report has it that the Chairman of the Governor’s forum is mad at the National Chairman for thwarting his plans to install a member of his family in the government’s house.
