US grants Atiku Abubakar Entry Visa
The United States has finally granted an entry visa to the Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.
This was first reported by an online medium TheCable on Saturday.
It was reported that Atiku left the country to the United Kingdom after receiving his visa and will from there, travel to the United States.
The new development has put to rest the speculation by the ruling party that the former deputy Vice-President has been banned from entering the States.
There is a speculation, however, that a former President, Olusegun Obasanjo had a hand in seeking the visa for his former deputy.
The US consulate in Lagos, represented by the spokesman Russel Brooks had refused to make comment on the issuance of a visa to Atiku, saying the process is strictly confidential irrespective of the status.
