Tragedy: Fresh FM staff, OAP killed by a ‘Hit and Run’ Driver in Ibadan

The Oyo State Media Society on Monday, January 1, 2018, woke up to the sad News of the Death of one of Her very own Olufemi Oluwajobi who was killed by a Drunk ‘Hit and Run’ driver on his way to a social function on the new year’s Eve.

Olufemi was a staff of Fresh fm Ibadan, popularly called Radio MD (music dynamite), the OAP was said to be on his way to join some friends at the Palms Mall, venue of Ibadan Countdown festival when he was hit by a drunk and reckless driver.

He was reported to have been rushed to the University Teaching Hospital where he eventually gave up the ghost.

The report has it that Femi left home without his car in a bid to avoid traffic congestion and intended board commercial Motorcycle (Okada) to his destination (Ring road), he was knocked down while waiting for a bike.

The drunk reckless driver was said to have also killed another person before his arrest by the officers from Felele Police Station.

Femi, an open-hearted, humble and hardworking, young media practitioner during his lifetime was survived by wife and children.

He will be buried today Tuesday, January 2, 2018, at Sango Cemetery in Ibadan.
