TRAGEDY: Auto Accident claimed 3 lives in Ibadan

A terrible auto accident yesterday claimed three lives in Ibadan Oyo State capital around Fresh fm axis of Challenge area of the metropolis, the bloody accident involving two vehicles was caused due to over-speeding along the Highway.

An eye-witness disclosed to NAIJA CENTER NEWS that a Mazda car with registration number BDG 625 ET lost control and applied brakes while trying to negotiate a sharp turning along the highway and somersaulted severally over the center divider into the other lane, thereby crashing into another oncoming vehicle, a Ford SUV with a foreign number plate on it.

The SUV was reported by the eye-witness to have suffered greatly from the impact and broke into two while the Mazda too was damaged beyond description.

According to the eye-witness, a resident Mr. Najimdeen Olaoye who spoke with NAIJA CENTER NEWS Reporter; ”The Mazda was coming from this side and wanted to negotiate that turning(pointing a-far), the driver lost its control while trying to do the turning and applied the brake, that was how we saw the car flying (somersaulting) severally and cross over the covet, it was the impact that broke that lamp post over there and it eventually got to the other lane crashing into the other vehicle, a Ford that was going on the side of the road”

Both drivers died on the spot of the accident while the female passenger of the Ford vehicle (probably the wife) did not make it to the Hospital, She reportedly gave up the ghost before her rescuers could get her into a nearby Hospital for treatment.  Two children were rescued also from the SUV with injuries sustained from the accident.

Additional Information reaching Us confirmed that the deceased, owner of one of the cars involved in the accident (the Mazda car) was by name Daniel Ilesanmi a.k.a Smade, a final year student of Zoology at Lead City University LCU, Ibadan. He was also a popular face at LCU as he was a Photographer on Campus.

According to a reliable source on campus, Daniel bought the ill-fated car not long ago.
