Nigerian former coach, Stephen Keshi is dead

Nigerian football icon Stephen Okechukwu Keshi has passed away in the early hours of Wednesday in Benin City.

The cause of death is yet to be known as his body is currently in a yet to be known mortuary in Benin.

It could be recalled that his wife, Kate died at the age of 33 last year after a prolonged battle with cancer.

He is survived with four children and mother.

KEshi was the only Nigerian coach who won the Africa Cup of Nations as a player and a coach.

The NIgerian coach popularly known as the big boss represented Nigerian from 1982 when he was 20 years old till 1994 as a captain of the Super Eagles.

The Big Boss was born on January 23, 1962 in Azare, NIgeria. He coached the Togo National Football team in 2011- 2011
