Two lecturers in Mahuta community of Igbabi local government area of Kaduna state have been kidnapped.
The victims, Umar Chinoko and Adamu Chinoko are two brothers working at the Kaduna Polytechnic and Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) Zaria respectively.
According to the report, Adamu was first abducted on Thursday night and the kidnappers demanded N2 million ransom and a new motorcycle.
The victim brother, Umar who went to deliver the ransom on Sunday was also abducted.
Both lecturers are from Kebbi State.
The spokesman of Kebbi State Indigenes Association of Kaduna State, Garba Mohammad confirmed the abduction.
“Dr. Umar Chinoko went to pay a ransom of N2 million and a new motorbike the kidnappers demanded for and he was held,” he said.
“After they collected the ransom, they also held him hostage and demanded for yet another ransom of N5 million. As I speak to you both of them are still in captivity is still with the abductors,” he said.
