Just In: Police Invades Dino Melaye’s Private Residence

The lawmaker representing Kogi West in the National Assembly Senator Dino Melaye has raised an alarm over the invasion of his home by the Nigeria Police.

The incident happened at his Abuja residence located at 11 Sangha street, off Mississippi, Maitama few minutes past 12pm.

The lawmaker on his Twitter page said the entry and exit of his street had been cordoned off by the security operatives with Toyato Hilux operational vehicles.

Melaye started his alarm two days ago, claiming that the Federal government was planning to assassinate him.

” All entrances to my residence in Mississippi have been secured by the police that claims there is no order to arrest me. One truck by centagon school too. Media and Nigerians take note. We have pictures of those involved.

“They have just zoomed off the trucks leaving 3 men at different end of my street wearing black.

“Two trucks with people wearing black in front on centagon school on Mississippi maitama. Toyota Siena at the entrance of Sangha street, gold colour Honda accord roaming the street.

“A man in jallabia have gone forth and back my street more than 10 times.
Two hilux truck have now blocked my gate with men in mufti numbering 20 “

Melaye said his security man was physically abused, handcuffed and put in the truck.

He said, “Cameras recording. They are trying to plant guns in the cars outside. We are watching and they have forcefully entered my compound.

“Police took over my Abuja residence. Beat security man to stupor and hand cuffed him and put him in a truck.
