COVID-19: Nollywood Actress Funke Akindele And Husband Plead Guilty
A popular Nollywood actress Funke Akindele and her husband, Abdul Rasheed Bello have pleaded guilty to one count charge.
The charge was filed against them by the Attorney General of Lagos State, Moyosore Onighanjo (SAN)
The Akindeles’ were arraigned by the state government for alleged violation of the lockdown order to check the spread of Coronavirus.
The couple were brought before the Lagos State Magistrates’ Court in Ogba.
Funke and her husband were arrested on Sunday evening for hosting a party in their Amen’s Estate on Saturday.
It was gathered that the Nigerian Police arrived the residence in three patrol vehicles.
On Monday, The Nollywood star pleaded guilty to breaching the Lagos infection disease regulation (2020), which prescribes N100,000 fine or a month jail time for violators.
