Breaking: Four New Coronavirus Cases In Nigeria, says NCDC

Four new cases of Coronavirus infection has been discovered in the country, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control has announced on Monday evening.

This amount the total new cases of COVID-19 to 40.

The NCDC disclosed this via twitter handle on Monday evening.

Three of the cases are in Lagos while one is in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.

According to NCDC, two of the cases are individuals who returned from abroad.

“Four new cases of #COVID19 have been confirmed in Nigeria. 3 are in Lagos State and 1 in FCT

“Two of these cases are returning travellers

“As at 11:00pm on the 23rd of March, there are 40 confirmed cases of #COVID19 in Nigeria. 2 have been discharged with 1 death recorded,” NCDC tweeted.
