During a question and answer session at the PDP headquarter in Abuja on Wednesday which was broadcasted live on its Facebook
He said that the budget the President presented affected all lawmakers as well as Nigerians.
Explaining what led to the jeering of the President, Ologbondiyan said “It is wrong for anybody to say that It was the PDP that instigated the booing, APC members also booed Mr President because the budget also affects the APC members as it affects every Nigerian, and the purpose of their booing was that you brought 2018 budget and you did not even implement it 20% and you are coming again to present 2019 budget, what was their need for it?
“It will be wrong and totally misplaced for anybody to accuse the PDP of instigating the jeering and booing of Mr President. All the members of the National assembly, they represent various constituencies and senatorial district of our nation. What happened today was the total reflection of the wishes of majority of Nigerians, so you cannot play it on any party, it is across party line.”
